Ai4Blender is compatible with MacOs Catalina and later. Please check your MacOs before downloading.

The application has its own bundled python library to ensure uniform performance across different machines and can be implemented across all of your Mac computers.

Ai4Blender uses GPT3.5-turbo via user implemented API. Regarding API call costs; Over a six month development period, with extensive testing and API calls, our token costs did not exceed five US dollars! This AI costs literally pennies to run.

CONTEXT AND STATEFUL AI!

The application uses a bundled python t5 summarizer function to append 'context' to outgoing API calls. This limits API call token costs, but more importantly provides a much more 'stateful' experience across all AI communications. In this way ChatGPT maintains awareness of usernames and project specific information vital to understanding the context of the users Blender sessions.

It is important to note that while the AI will understand the context of your projects, as of yet it cannot actually 'see' your session. To edit objects in complex sessions users will need to 'select' specific objects for modification and 'work with' the AI from that perspective and understanding. That said, working alongside our AI in Blender is an incredibly fun and satisfying experience.
